Exciting times are ahead!

Posting begins on Sunday, October 1st. We will be posting on LJ & DW with links to AO3. Almost all of our fic and art will be posted on AO3 unless our participant doesn't have an account or they expressed to not share their work elsewhere.

As always, this is a small fest, but we definitely have lots of unique takes on the HD Family! Make sure to read the warnings if there are any!

Please note, that this is our last year for the fest, and we will be taking a break for the next few years. So I hope you come to the party and bring your friends!

The hd family Fest is going to return for the second year. It was a small fest this year, but it produced wonderful stories. I hope the fest will be bigger and better next year. For those who may not have heard of it, the hd family fest is a prompt based fest for the pairing of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. The purpose of the fest is to create fic and art celebrating the idea of Harry and Draco as a couple and as parents. The fanworks can be about established relationships, they can include mpreg or they could be epilogue compliant fics where Harry and Draco get together long after they've become fathers.

They could feature the next-gen kids or they could just be about Harry and Draco raising Teddy together. They do not necessarily have to be together at the beginning of the story, but they do have to be a couple by the end of it. The stories can be fluffy or angsty, but they need to have happy endings. It is not absolutely necessary that all the stories have to feature kids. Stories about Harry and Draco learning to be a couple and learning to live together would also be fine.
