Author's Notes:For thenerd1026, who asked for 'slow in the beginning' and I might have really run with that, hence the word count. I was 99% faithful to your prompt (don't worry, a happy ending was definitely part of that 99%), and I hope you get something from all of the heart that I poured into this story. Love to my betas S and C. I guarantee you that any mistakes are totally mine, because I just could not stop revising and adding to this fic. It ate my soul.

Very sweet! Teddy was perfect, and the confrontation in Draco's bedroom was so wonderfully heart-achey, I stopped and read it again just because.

Really lovely. ♥

Thank you so much for reading! I'm glad you felt that way about the confrontation scene, because that's exactly how I wanted it to come across. :)

That was gorgeous mystery author.

I was so scared for Teddy at the beginning, you painted that picture so well, Harry walking in with Teddy on his arms without shoes and sick with worry, my heart went for him, for them.

And then Draco, so professional and distant, but then I began to understand, and wow, you did a brilliant job showing just how much it hurt him when Harry pushed him away. I mean, it really made me understand, in my heart, how Draco felt, how betrayed he was for what happened, and I felt for him, his loneliness, and this single thing marked him all these years later.

And then Harry, man, in just a few words you wrote him so sexy, while he was cooking while listening to music. I have no idea why, but that scene was perfect.

And dude, the food, my mouth was watering! I googled everything to have more visuals because the way you described it was making me hungry. I could literally smell the brandy butter. I'm not even kidding. I went to the kitchen to see if I could find anything at all to eat because, well, you made me hungry! Lol

Oh! And that confrontation in Draco's place, just wow, the was all kinds of perfect, as it was the way Draco thought of it back after Ron and Hermione's visit, and how Harry was fighting now, and how many it was time for Draco to stop fighting, that was amazing.

I loved the way Harry was with Teddy, how you could tell how much he loved him and cared for him, He's all I've got. God. And then He's like a girl with all the hugging, honestly and yes! I could tell how much Harry would give to make Teddy happy, not spoiling him, just yeah.

OMG!!!! Loki! LOL Quidditch never had a change against this obsession. Poor Harry. XD

This was just brilliant. I enjoyed every word. Thank you so much for this story. <3

Oh my gosh yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

I don't blame Draco for being so reluctant at first but I'm damned happy he gave in eventually, and that Ron and Hermione spoke to him.

By the way, bacon butties? I am in love with you for the sheer amount of bacon in here. Harry+Draco+Teddy+angst+bacon= absofuckinglutely fantastic.

Bacon is what makes life worth living. ;-)

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I'm really glad that you liked it.

Brilliant. It took me a while to find the time to read all of this and I'm glad I waited because I couldn't put it down.

The emotions you portray are so palpable and my heart struggled to cope about half way through!

I loved Teddy, he was gorgeous! A really fantastic read, thank you.

This was just beautiful from start to finish. I loved every word of it. This is probably going to be sort of incoherent and rambly because that's how I get when I really like something, and I really really liked this. <3

Your characterization is just lovely. I adored Teddy, especially his Loki obsession. And Harry's worry over him in the first part where he's sick felt very very real to me, right down to him grabbing Teddy and rushing him to St. Mungo's without even thinking to put on shoes, and his determination to make sure that Teddy has a good Christmas. Draco as a Healer is probably my favorite career for him, and I loved how in the beginning he's so stiff and profession with little peeks to show that a part of him still cares for Harry, the slippers and blanket.

I adored the flashbacks to show me what happened, and how they slowly grew closer to each other, and how they parted ways. And how Harry decided he wanted Malfoy back in his life and wasn't above using Teddy to make it happen.

AND THE KISS OH MY GOD THE KISS. IT DESERVES CAPS. I can't even say how much I love that the POV switched back and forth through it so I got every delicious reaction to it and just, I loved it so much. ::flails::

And then you went and took all my happy kissy feels and smashed them to pieces when Draco turned around and left. But then Harry went right after him with all that wonderful Gryffindor determination he's got and catches him in a towel, and I was all, yes! Shower sex! Happy feels! And then Draco shuts him the fuck down and your smashed my happy feels to pieces all over again.

But then you fixed it again with Ron and Hermione, who were wonderfully written, and them approaching (ambushing?) Draco at work, though I was a little afraid when Harry and Teddy were talking, but then Draco came back and then the end! Jack the dog! Morning shower sex! Getting married! More bacon! More Loki! I'm in love with this story and I'm sure it's one I'm going to be rereading over and over. <3

I'm not so good at leaving comments, but I'm trying to do better. I read this when it was first posted at AO3 and it was just adorable. It didn't hurt that I had just seen Thor 2 and Loki was also residing in my heart at the time, that just made the story even better for me. Just a wonderful, sweet story!
