Title: Come Back to Me

Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione

Author's Notes: Dear Drarryxlover, I think I have respected what you wanted in your prompt and I really hope you will like it!

I have been listening to many songs during the writing of this fic, among them Everybody Hurts Sometimes (REM), Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word (Elton John), Still Loving You (Scorpions), It’s a Heartache (Bonnie Tyler) and Unchained Melody (Righteous Brothers). A huge, immense thank you to my betas and pre-readers C, L and I for their patience and precious advice!

That was delightful! So sweet and the plot was so smooth! The characterizations were perfect, the whole situation seemed very intense and real. Somehow it's amazing that you managed to work out so much fluff with the buckets of angst in this story :)

The ending with the brightest star was a marvellous touch, just tied it all together so well.

Thank you for a charming tale, it was a treat to read!

I really enjoyed this story. It was full of emotion and very true to life (easy to believe). I love how mature Harry and Draco have become, but also how far they still have to go. Lily was delightful.

Thanks so much for the great read.

Thank you!

This is amazing, so much more than I could have expected.

God the angst! You had my heart breaking and I love you for it anon! Almost had me tearing up. Poor Harry, not understanding and Draco being so Slytherin to hurt instead of be hurt.

And Lily, god she's adorable. *snuggles her*

I'm somewhat flabbergasted by this, it's one I can and definitely will be returning to.

This was so lovely. I loved Lily and your characterizations of Harry and Draco were so perfect. I could really feel how miserable they were both feeling without each other. Gah, you made me tear up a few times, author! I was so relieved to see Harry realizing his mistakes and working to change them so he could fix his relationship, and Draco doing the same. Really lovely story!

And I have a feeling I know who this mystery author is. Can't wait to find out!

Oh my god, my heart felt for Harry through this so so much. I mean, it was obvious they both were pretty unhappy without each other, but that scene of Harry crying after the pre Christmas party at the Burrow just broke my heart. I was so glad they figured things out, that Draco was finally able to talk to Harry about what was really about and together they solved their problems, started walking together in the right direction. I loved how you wrote little Lily, too, she was so sweet and precious. Lovely read, thank you so much, mystery author. <3

Meep I was crying for Harry and Draco although I wanted to shake them as well. Communication is the key and they both are bad at it. Harry allowed work to swallow him and Draco couldn´t say what he needed.

I am just glad they came to their senses quickly enough. And it was so sweet with Lily wishing on a star to make eveything alright again :)

I really loved this and can´t wait to find out who created it!

This was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I was hooked from the first three lines. The three words: I want out was just a beautiful way to start the story. So, I'm afraid I'm going to get a bit rambly here, but that's what happens when I like something a lot and even though I read this a day or so after it posted, it really stayed with me and I've caught myself thinking of it on and off since then.

The tone, your characterization, Harry's voice in this was just perfect, and the way he slowly came to realize and correct his mistakes, and how the problems they're having with communication are also Draco's fault even if he doesn't want to admit it, and how throughout it all and all of their problems they're both so incredibly devoted to Lily. And Lily! She was lovely. And that first kiss after their argument! <3

Everything about this just felt incredibly realistic, the dialogue and action and descriptions. It was heartbreaking in all the right ways, with just enough little bits of humor and hope sprinkled in to take the edge off. Just perfect.

This was such a wonderful, brilliant story, I've already read it twice, and I'm sure I'll be rereading it again.

Okay, very quickly now, bebé, because I've just spent the last hour reading instead of working and I have SO MUCH work to do in half an hour!!!

Since we betaed this fic, I didn't see it again. What I'm trying to say is that I read it as I betaed and we discussed things and changes, but then for some reason I NEVER read the finished work. I have now. And MY GOD! Bebé, it's BEAUTIFUL!! How didn't I realize before how beautiful it is? Now, with the distance since betaing and editing and correcting, I've read it anew, like I hadn't seen it before, and I absolutely loved it. It had me welling up in places and breathless in others, and I loved every word! (except maybe a few "incredibly"s because you know I hate that word. Lol!) This is just perfect and their voices are perfect, and I hope you are very proud of yourself, because I'm brimming with pride right now even for my tiny contribution to your work.

I love it bebé, and if you ever doubt yourself again i'll clomp you over the head with a club. 'Nuff said.

*glomps*
