Claiming for the HD family fest 2015 is open!

Claiming for the HD family fest 2015 is now open and it will STAY OPEN UNTIL THE 27th OF DECEMBER.

LIST OF PROMPTS

Please fill out the following template and submit it as a comment on this post. The HD family fest is a self-posting fest this year, so comments will not be screened.

Claiming will happen on a first come, first serve basis. The list of prompts will be regularly updated, clearly identifying the ones that have already been claimed.

Each prompt can be claimed twice – once for fic and once for art. Once a prompt has been claimed it will be marked as such and it cannot be claimed again.

Each participant can claim only one prompt at a time. If none of the listed prompts appeals to you, you can go ahead and create your own prompt.

Posting will begin on 16th Feburary, 2015 and will go on until 1st March, 2015.

Please choose the date on which you would like to post your fanwork. I will do my best to assign you the date that you choose, but since I do not want more than two fanworks posted each day, you may not get your first choice date. Please try to post on the date that you have chosen.

In case of delays there will be a BONUS WEEK for posting your fanworks from 2nd march, 2015 to 8th march, 2015.

Any chance I can get in on the party?

Hi there! (Waves!)

I know I'm coming to the party a bit late, but is there any chance I can try to join in? I wish I could say, "Yeah, hey, no problem. I can knock a fic out in four weeks, including betaing and editing!" but I'm not entirely sure I can. I can do my damnedest though! The fic that I have in mind for the prompt that's been poking me in the back of the head since last night is shortish. (Shortish for me anyway.)

Slight glitch. The story is coming along fine at about 9,000 words, and I hope to have it finished in about a week and a half at about 15,000 words. The problem is I've only ever worked with Project Team Beta for beta services, and they're unable to accept new stories at this time due to a lack of volunteers. I'm looking around for a beta, but I also wanted to ask if you know of a reliable source. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
