This was such a beautiful story. I love how obviously Draco's matured in the year since the war, yet he's still so recognizable as himself. And the first scene where he's visiting his aunt and Teddy and then Potter comes in and flings himself on the floor and is just so relaxed about it, oh, that was just lovely.

I especially loved the zoo scene, Potter talking to the snake and getting it to tell jokes had me laughing aloud, and then you followed it up with that whole lovely picnic and so many important things happened, Draco's fear when Teddy mimicked him and Potter jumping over the river, and Draco walking away.

Ron and Hermione were just perfectly done in this. Actually, all of your characters were just amazing, Teddy and Narcissa and Andromeda, and just everyone. Your characterization for everyone was just spot-on, especially Draco, and I just loved how he grew and changed over the course of the story, steadily becoming more sure of himself and of Harry. I loved every word of this, from start to finish. Lovely job and I can't wait to find out who you are! :D

Thank you for such a lovely review. It's so nice when people say which bits they liked reading, so thanks for doing that. I had most aspects of the story planned - like the river and Teddy morphing to look like Draco - but the joke telling snakes were a bit of a spur of the moment thing. They amused me, so I'm glad you liked them too!
